Lieutenant Inquisitor Tenneson was the prosecutor in the case to extradite the Party to Rigus. Upon investigation, Reinhalt's contacts discovered that he was an ambitious and unethical man who was easily manipulated. For example, after he was promoted to Lieutenant Inquisitor, he dug up as much dirt as he could on his main rival, a hobgoblin named Redfang, and had him busted down to private for some minor offenses.

According to Reinhalt's spies, he had been contacted with a human priest from the Brotherhood of the Toll of Doom, and had started the trial against the Party immediately afterwards.

The Party somehow found enough information about him to have him arrested before the trial, so it was thrown out of court. (22)
