Ombidias is a wood giant, a rare breed of giant that is rarely seen on the Planes. Stories about him say he comes from a Prime Material desert worlds of high magic, vast deserts, and cruel slave empires. If there are any truths to these tales, however, Ombidias has done nothing to confirm it.

As a Factor in the Believers of the Source, he holds a great deal of responsibility in the running of its plane-spanning philosophical empire. Along with two or three other Factors, he is second in rank only the Factol (leader) of the Faction itself.

In spite of his lofty position, Ombidias is a kind, patient, and wise being. He always makes time in his busy schedule to listen and attend to problems and concerns of lower ranking Faction members, and he is never above putting aside his paperwork and lifting a hammer alongside the other smiths in the Great Foundry.

He can grant an audience with an otherwise hard-to-reach member of Sigil's nobility, provide invitations to an exclusive high-society function, or provide information on Sigil's nobles or politics equivalent to a very high Knowledge: Nobility check.
