Felix (Sorcerer 8/Fatespinner 2)
Felix grew up in the Outlands near Tradegate, the Portal town for Bytopia, in a family of Blacksmiths. Having neither the physique nor the inclination to follow the family trade, he took the earliest opportunity to leave his home, and found his way to Sigil. He managed to survive there by petty theft, but wanting something more, he stole enough money to enter the Rowan Academy of Learning in the field of Arcane Studies. He was not a diligent pupil, only taking an interest in learning techniques that he could use practically to enhance his powers. He became particularly interested in the magic of fate and probabilities, which seemed to come naturally to him.
He began spending more and more time in the gambling dens of Sigil, and quickly ran up a large debt with the Corcino Family. Luckily, he had developed a friendship with Perry from the Church of Pelor, who offered to negotiate with the Family on his behalf if Felix would go on missions for the Church from time to time. Felix agreed, not liking the alternative and finding that his natural talents made him suitable for adventuring despite his lack of offensive capabilities.
